• Look at the list of longest punts in Iowa Hawkeye history and you'll see Ryan Donahue's name. Several times. His 73-yard punt against Northwestern in 2009 ranks 10th-longest, and he also holds the second longest (82) and fifth longest (76).
• His performance for the Hawkeyes in 2009 earned him second team all Big Ten by Phil Steele's College Football, honorable mention all-Big Ten by league coaches and the Reggie Roby Special Teams Award, one of 10 finalists for the Ray Guy Award and was named Big Ten co-Special Teams Player of the Week for his play in the win over Arizona.
• Originally from Evergreen Park, Ill., Ryan was a first-team USAToday all American and made 147 of 154 PATs in high school.
