Day 18 (August 17, 2010)
Micah Hyde was one of only three true freshman to see action for the Hawkeyes in 2009, and he saw plenty of it on special teams and as a cornerback, playing in all 13 games. Micah is listed as the starting right cornerback for the Hawkeyes coming out of spring practice.
In high school, Micah was a top all-around player. He was the Ohio Division IV Offensive Player of the Year at quarterback and first team all state. For his career, he totaled 165 tackles, eight interceptions and seven passes defended at cornerback; had 549 carries for 3,443 yards and 46 TDs; completed 606-997 passes for 7,864 yards and 65 touchdowns; and connected on 108 extra points and holds 17 school records.
