Jude West
Age: 78. Community volunteer, UI facilitator, and popular teacher, continues full time with UI’s executive MBA program, and as a campus strategic planning facilitator. Past president of both the local Systems Unlimited and Goodwill boards, he co-directs UI’s Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center. After earning an undergraduate degree in his native Chicago area in 1953, he came to Iowa City in 1963, earned a doctorate, and remained to work, recently as interim vice president for strategic communications. Through four decades, he has had significant impact on UI faculty and staff through his talent for mediation and crisis intervention.
